Undas 2026 is coming—and Filipinos know the checklist by heart. 🕯️🌼
Kandila? Check.
Bulaklak? Check.
Tubig? Check.
Payong? Check.
Food for the family? Check.
Pero may CR ba? 😅🚻
Every year, millions of Filipinos visit cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria to remember and honor their departed loved ones during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
For families, Undas is a meaningful tradition. For cemetery administrators and event organizers, however, it also means preparing for large crowds, traffic, waste, sanitation, and restroom demand.
And that’s why one often-overlooked item deserves a place on every Undas preparation checklist:
🚻 Portalets.
Why Are Portalets Important During Undas?
When thousands of people gather in one location, existing restroom facilities may not be enough.
Visitors can spend several hours at a cemetery—cleaning graves, praying, lighting candles, arranging flowers, eating with relatives, and visiting loved ones.
Eventually, nature calls.
And when hundreds or thousands of people need to use a limited number of toilets, long queues are almost guaranteed.
Portable toilets provide additional restroom capacity without requiring permanent construction.
For cemeteries and memorial parks, Undas portalet rental can be a practical way to prepare for the annual increase in visitors.
🕯️ Undas Preparation Checklist
Before heading to the cemetery, families can prepare:
🕯️ Candles
Bring candles for prayer and remembrance, and observe cemetery rules regarding where they can be placed.
🌼 Flowers
Flowers remain one of the most traditional ways of honoring departed loved ones.
💧 Drinking Water
Undas can involve long walks and hours outdoors. Bring enough drinking water, particularly for children and older family members.
☂️ Umbrella
Philippine weather can be unpredictable. An umbrella can provide protection from both sun and rain.
🧻 Personal Essentials
Tissues, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and other personal necessities can be useful during a long cemetery visit.
🚻 And Don’t Forget the Portalet
For cemetery administrators and event organizers, portable toilets should be part of the preparation—not an afterthought.
🚻 How Portalets Can Make Undas Better
1. Reduce Long Restroom Lines
One of the biggest problems during large gatherings is limited restroom capacity.
Additional portalets can help distribute restroom demand and reduce pressure on existing facilities.
2. Keep Visitors From Walking Long Distances
A restroom that’s several hundred meters away isn’t convenient for everyone.
Strategically placed portalets can put restroom facilities closer to high-traffic areas.
3. Help Seniors and Children
Cemeteries are visited by people of all ages.
Children and senior citizens may need more convenient restroom access, especially when families spend several hours at the cemetery.
4. Support Better Crowd Flow
Portable toilets can be distributed around a large venue instead of concentrating everyone around one restroom area.
This can help reduce congestion and improve visitor movement.
5. Provide Temporary Restroom Capacity
Undas creates a temporary spike in visitors.
A cemetery doesn’t necessarily need to construct permanent toilets simply to handle a few extremely busy days each year.
Portable restrooms provide a flexible temporary solution.
🏛️ Who Should Consider Undas Portalet Rental?
Undas portalet rental isn’t only for large cemeteries.
Portable toilets can also be useful for:
- Memorial parks
- Churches
- Barangay activities
- Public gatherings
- Temporary prayer areas
- Parking areas
- Events near cemeteries
- Security and traffic-control areas
- Large family gatherings
- Outdoor events
If a location expects a large number of visitors and has limited permanent restroom capacity, portable toilets are worth considering.
🇵🇭 Portalet Rental Philippines for Undas 2026
If you’re searching for portalet rental Philippines, Undas is one of the occasions where advance planning is especially important.
Cemeteries and memorial parks can experience extremely high visitor volumes around October 31, November 1, and November 2.
The number of portalets required depends on factors such as:
- Expected visitors
- Length of stay
- Existing restroom facilities
- Venue size
- Crowd distribution
- Operating hours
- Cleaning and servicing requirements
There is no single number that works for every cemetery.
A professional portable toilet supplier can help determine a suitable setup based on the expected crowd and venue requirements.
🧼 Cleanliness Is Just as Important as Availability
Having enough toilets is only part of the solution.
They also need to be properly maintained.
A good portable sanitation plan should include:
Cleaning + sanitation + servicing + supplies + proper placement.
For large public gatherings, restroom cleanliness can significantly affect the overall visitor experience.
That’s why cemetery administrators should plan sanitation requirements before the Undas rush begins.
🕯️ Undas Is About Remembering
Despite the crowds, traffic, and preparations, the heart of Undas remains simple:
We remember the people we love.
Families gather together.
Children learn about relatives they may never have met.
Flowers are offered.
Candles are lit.
Prayers are said.
And while a portalet may not be the most sentimental part of Undas…
it’s definitely one of the things people will appreciate when they need one. 😂🚻
Good planning allows everyone to spend more time remembering their loved ones—and less time looking for a restroom.
